Club Romantico joins forces with Miami’s Coffintexts to deliver a masterclass debut for the imprint. 4 tracks of club music built at the cross roads of sensuality & hyper functionality, ‘Suave’ is set to release in full on the 26th of January.

The EP sees Muggli channel the energy of her live-wire productions into a particular side of her sound to devastating effect. Teaming up with Miamis singer-songwriter/DJ, Gaby G, the infamous duo deliver club debauchery in the way they know best. With a measured but relentless unleash of tresillo rhythms, unyielding low-end focus & sultry dubbed out vocals.

The solo single, ‘I Like the Way She’s Moving’, sees Muggli at her rudest & most direct. You can hear the influence of the UK here as she borrows from early garage & proto dubsteps bass design & collides it against rhythms that have become synonymous with Coffintexts hard hitting production style that make even the stiffest of hips move. ‘Suave’ sees Gaby G & Coffintexts embark on the most stripped back but focussed moment of the EP, delivering a very restrained number of elements for maximum effect, hyper hypnotic tension for smoked out rooms. ‘Wet Nasty’ wraps up the originals with the most sensual moment, club mischief at its finest, an onslaught of low end bliss, Gabys sensual vocals & hazed out drifty FX over a hard as nails drum work out.

On the remix, Florentino hot off his recent XL EP, rolls out his signature approach of hybridism. 303 acid working with skeletal Guaracha for the low end, the sultry flex of the originals vocals & a drum machine like approach to those rhythms that both Coffintexts & Florentino have become known for.
